New in the RUST-OLEUM® assortment of high performance coatings is the MATHYS® Dac Hydro Plus, a flexible and durable water based paint for the renovation and protection of various roof tiles. This weather resistant coating offers a quick, easy and affordable alternative to replacing roof tiles, either to offer renewed protection against the elements or just an esthetical improvement.

Dac Hydro-Plus is, micro porous, elastic, easy to apply and has a durable finish that combines nice aesthetics with long-lasting gloss retention. It forms an impermeable water barrier preventing rain reaching the tiles that it protects. At the same time, its micro-porous film allows water vapour to evaporate from the inside out.

Dac Hydro Plus can be used on concrete tiles, Eternit tiles, Terracotta/Redland tiles and others. A typical application consists of 2 coats of Dac Hydro Plus. An adhesion primer is only required on specific surfaces.

After application the coating is waterproof after just 2 hours and it can be recoated after 24 hrs. Another key feature of the product is its high spread rate of 9-11 m²/litre per coat.

Dac Hydro Plus has a matt finish and comes in 6 standard roof tile colours. Other colours are available upon request.
